Our Mission
“A Venezuelan Story: 360° Immersive Experience” is a joint project between the Global Shapers Community, Plan País and Mycrom Logistics that seeks to
shoot a 360° documentary short in the Venezuela-Colombia border to capture the ordeal and tough
conditions that Venezuelan migrants are going through and the impact in the destination communities. Viewers will experience
situations far away from their daily lives. Helping
them understand what Venezuelan migrants are
currently going through in a specific part of the
world.

Carlos E. Macher is an award-winning filmmaker and actor from Lima, Peru. Based in Washington, DC. In the U.S. he has produced and directed several films including the documentaries "Luigi's Story: The A-Word" and "Third Act"
Astrid Garcia

Astrid García is a strategic communications consultant at the Inter-American Development Bank (IDB) in Washington DC. In this capacity, she leads and designs communication plans for the e- learning course program in edX, an open-source learning initiative founded by Harvard University and MIT.
